Presolicitation notices were sent to firms on this agency's mailing list October 31, 2001. This notice is to amend response date and contact telephone number, and to advise those vendors who responded to the presolicitation mailing that solicitation packages will only be available in electronic format. Project consists of grading, drainage, riprap, paving, and retaining wall (welded wire-faced MSE wall and rockery wall) to 15 intermittent repair sites. Project includes: construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; clearing & grubbing; traffic pavement markings; 200 m silt fence; 500 ea straw bales; 8 ea pipe culvert; 20 m guardrail; 6,500 cu m roadway excavation; 3,728 cu m keyed riprap; 846 sq m welded wire-faced MSE wall; 57 sq m geogrid reinforced earth fills; 786 sq m type 1 rockery wall; 183 sq m type 2 rockery wall; 1,850 ton method 1 minor crushed aggregate; 907 ton minor hot asphalt concrete; 88 m culvert 600 mm; 15 m 1,800 x 1,200 mm culvert; 70 m outlet pipe 150 mm; 233 m guardrail; 4 slry unit seeding/mulching; 240 flagger hrs; 425 cu m pumped grout; 380 m rock dowels; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 10 km east of Port Orford, Oregon. Work shall be completed by October 31, 2005. Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
