This is not a solicitation notice. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.1405 and VA Acquisition Regulations 819.7005, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, is conducting market research to find Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Concerns who are interested in an upcoming project and will definitely submit an offer. Responses from this notice will assist in determining if the acquisition should be set-aside for competition restricted to SDVOSB or VOSB Concerns. The project information is as follows: Project Title: ICU, 3rd FL, Building 67 Project Location/Address: Boise VA Medical Center 500 West Fort Street Boise, ID 83702 Scope of Work: Construct approximately 7,500 new gsf attached to Building 67, three floors with approximately 2,500 gsf per floor. Renovate approximately 14,325 gsf within Building 67, primarily on the second and third floors. Provide individual patient bedrooms for MERSA isolation and HIPAA privacy for the third floor Step Down Unit. Provide safe mental health rooms for intensive psychiatric care that meet current criteria on the second floor. Provide police and medical service space on the first floor. The NAICS Code is 236220 and size standard is 33.5 million. The construction magnitude is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 You are requested to provide a positive response to include at a minimum: 1. Company name, address and phone number. 2. Verification your company is registered in VetBiz and is a certified SDVOSB or VOSB. This is a mandatory certification requirement if your company is claiming SDVOSB or VOSB status. 3. Written confirmation your company intends to submit an offer. (Request you only respond if you have a genuine interest in the project and will likely submit an offer.) 4. Company profile to include certified NAICS code it is registered for. 5. Proof your company has received a contract, conducts business, or has bid on similar work of this magnitude in the general locality of the project. 6. If your company has not done business in the general locality, explain why your company is interested in the project and how you intend to overcome the obstacles of bidding and working in a new location (i.e. subcontractor and supplier plans, superintendence, project management, customer relations, etc.) 7.
