   The engineers, architects, and contracting officers of the US military invite you to this April's Kanto Plains Industry Day.  We look forward to continuing our previous discussions and to adding new conversation topics.  With your participation, this year's Industry Day will be a fantastic success.  Attached is the registration form.  Please submit one form for each person who will attend no later than 15 March 2018.

    2 DAYS OF EXPANDED SCOPE - We will:

Ø  Address our core design & construction program and contracting processes

Ø  ADD presentations regarding our myriad of service contracts and how to contract and compete for them

Ø  ADD presentations and panel discussions about disaster response contracting and engineering issues

Ø  ADD perspectives and predictions regarding the future of the Japanese labor and construction market

   SPEAKERS & PANEL MEMBERS NEEDED - We need you or someone you know to round out our speaker or panels:

ü  Presentations and/or panel members who can speak to disaster response engineering and contracting. 

ü  Perhaps lessons learned from Japan's 2011 earthquake and tsunami? 

ü  Looking for both private sector and government perspectives. 

ü  Panel members to discuss the future Japanese labor and construction markets.

ü  What impacts the market today and how will that evolve over time? 

ü  What impact is the aging workforce having? 

ü  Where is the focus of the youth of this country? 

ü  Will we have enough engineers, architects, craftsmen in the construction trades and other services?
