The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma AZ, has a requirement for Hybrid Tanks, Air Vessels, and Manholes under an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. The performance period will be a three year term commencing upon contract award. Award will be made on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable basis. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Proposal (RFP) No. R11PS34184 will be issued to facilitate electronic quotation submission. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-53. This requirement is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside Request for Proposal under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP); subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items; and FAR Part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332420 Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge) Manufacturing and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. The resulting contract may be a firm fixed price with an economic price adjustment for the steel products. The RFQ will be issued via www.fbo.gov. All amendments to the solicitation will be accessible through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (www.fedbizopps.gov) website. All interested parties are responsible for checking the FBO website to ensure that they have the most current information.
