The contract resulting from this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the abatement of the Billy Collett Landslide emergency project in Roark, Leslie County, KY. The project site is located on Creeksville, KY quadrangle map at latitude 37 00 50.7 and longitude 83 30 25.81. The work to be performed under the contract will consist of: mobilization and demobilization of equipment and labor; site preparation; excavation & grading; drilling & installation of steel rail piles; construction of reinforced concrete pile cap; drilling & installation of ground anchors; installation of surface and subsurface drainage systems; revegetation of all disturbed areas; tree planting; and restoration of access roads.
