This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial service in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION IS INCLUDED WITH THIS SYNOPSIS.
1.1 2) Solicitation W912P9-12-T-7144 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Circular 2005-11 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. 4) The solicitation is unrestricted. 5) DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all necessary plant, equipment, materials and labor to remove and replace with new the Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer (EPDM) elastomeric sheet roofing system of the Mel Price Lock and Dam maintenance and administrative building located at #1 Lock and Dam Way, East Alton, IL 62024 as specified and in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) provided in the solicitation. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation. The basis for award will be Past Performance and Lowest Price according the SOW. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the lowest price to the government. Electronic copies or fax copies are required. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be 7 Sep 2012 at 11 AM. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov Potential offerors MUST register at the St. Louis Contracting Division Home page at http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/ct/ct/htm and/or at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
