This contract is for the reclamation of the Gass Reclamation High Priority project located on Sand Mountain near New Home, Dade County, Georgia. The work under this contract will consist : mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's labor , equipment and materials; site preparation; pit dewatering; sediment control; excavation and grading; construction of drainage channels, road restoration; revegetion of all disturbed areas; and tree planting. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available to prospective bidders on or about August 11, 2008. The IFB will include the time of and the directions to the mandatory pre-bid meeting to be conducted on August 27, 2008. It is anticipated that bids will be opened on or about September 15, 2008 (an original hard copy bid will be due at the depository and on the date and time identified in the IFB. The IFB will be issued electronically via www.fedbizopps.gov or a hard copy may be requested by e-mailing [email protected].
