The purpose of this contract is to provide for the routine road maintenance of the National Forest Service road system in the Hoonah Ranger District. The project area is located in Hoonah, Southeast Alaska. Hoonah is accessible via air and water transportation, the project roads are accessible by air, or water transportation from the city of Hoonah road system. This is a service contract not construction. The performance period is 5 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about July 1, 2005 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.747.4289. Fax requests should reference solicitation AG-0114-S-05-0005. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 14 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project.
