This project is a Total Hub-Zone Set-Aside. GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project involves developing and expanding an existing quarry for aggregate production; producing, placement and compaction of aggregate to a 6 inch depth; and performing sampling and tests to certify quality and quantity. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies needed to perform the work. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. The performance period is 60 calendar days. PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located on the Tongass National Forest, Hoonah Ranger District on Chichagof Island, Southeast Alaska. It can be accessed from the Hoonah road system. SOLICITATION INFORMATION: The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about August 1, 2007 for viewing and printing. Potential quoters are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet. If unable to successfully obtain the solicitation from the internet, then a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at (907) 228-6254.
