NA OPEN TO LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES - Request for Proposal for the Nome Navigation Improvements Project by constructing a new main breakwater 3,025 feet long, a new spur breakwater 270 feet long, and dredging approximately 660,450 cubic yards. Approximately 8,500 cubic yards erosion mattress rock will be placed along with replacement of 1,431 linear feet of sheetpile retaining wall, demolish 523 linear feet of concrete jetties, demolish and reconstruct a bridge abutment, design and construct a pre-stressed c oncrete girder bridge 95 feet long and a bridge pier. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work. The period of work is from April 2003 to April 2006.
