THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION

The United States Property and Fiscal Office (USP&FO) for Connecticut intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract for the work consisting of renovation of existing conference room to provide new rooftop, HVAC units and related HVAC work, patching of roofing, new acoustical panel
ceiling, painting of walls, new window shades, and new entrance canopy structure with signage. All work shall be in accordance with the specifications and drawings by Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture & Engineering P.C. The plans/drawings, specifications and SOW will be available on or around 05 August 2009 on the FEDBIZOPPS.GOV website at: https://www.fbo.gov, the solicitation number is W91ZRS-09-B-0006. Amendments will also be posted on this website, check the website frequently. Currently, General Decision number CT080024 07/03/2009; is applicable to this IFB and can be found at http://www.wdol.gov/dba.aspx. The current Prevailing Wage Determinations will be incorporated at time of award. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the USP&FO for Connecticut to be evaluated on price. This project will be solicited as a Total Set Aside for HUBZone Small Business. Interested offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. Funding is currently not available for this acquisition at this time. The applicable NAICS code is 238220. The contractor shall furnish his/her own labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish the requirements. In accordance with Contract Clause 52.228-15, Contractors are reminded that any amount awarded over $25,000.00 shall require Payment Bonds and awards exceeding $100,000.00 shall require both Payment and Performance Bonds. The estimated value of this contract is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The total schedule for completing the work is 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
