The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment services and supervision for the renovation of Building 859, Phase 2 and 3 at Scott AFB, IL 62225-5015. The principal items of work shall include but are not limited to the following: fire protection main extension, sewer service, existing wall and ceiling removals, existing mechanical, plumbing and electrical system removals, new partitions, ceilings and associated finishes, new mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and new fire protection sprinkler system. This will be a Request for Proposal (RFP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236200 and the size standard is $28,500,00.00. The period of performance will is estimated as three hundred sixty (360) days. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, you must provide the following information to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA Certification of HUBZone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent, relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with phone numbers; (d) your available bonding for this project.
