NOTE: DUE TO COMPUTER ANOMOLIES, THE SF 1442 COVERSHEET INCORRECTLY LISTS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PAGES FOR THIS SOLICITATION AT 59 PAGES. THE CORRECT TOTAL IS 56 PAGES AND A PEN AND INK CHANGE TO THE COVER SHEET IS NECESSARY. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment services and supervision for the renovation of Building 859, Phase 2 and 3 at Scott AFB, IL 62225-5015. The principal items of work shall include but are not limited to the following: fire protection main extension, sewer service, existing wall and ceiling removals, existing mechanical, plumbing and electrical system removals, new partitions, ceilings and associated finishes, new mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and new fire protection sprinkler system. This will be a Request for Proposal (RFP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236200 and the size standard is $28,500,00.00. The period of performance will is estimated as three hundred sixty (360) days. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, you must provide the following information to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA Certification of HUBZone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent, relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with phone numbers; (d) your available bonding for this project. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice or the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to the competitiveness demonstration program. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web Site at http://www.eps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors MUST register at www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR at website http://www.ccr2000.com/. Release of the solicitation will be via the Internet only. Interested parties may download the solicitation from www.fedbizopps.gov; when it is posted. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. The closing time and date for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package.
