This is a pre-solicitation notice for a firm, fixed-price contract for Repairs to the East Front Bronze Doors of the U.S. Capitol for the Architect of the Capitol, Washington, D.C. The contract work includes the restoration of suspension assemblies for six (6) monumental bronze doors and associated adjustment of adjoining stone surfaces as specified. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 14, 2005. The date for receipt of proposals is January 24, 2006.
