This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors to Replace Domestic Water Piping, Bldg. 557 and 559, Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily, Italy by means of a firm fixed price construction contract. The requirements will be procured utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110. The estimated price range is between €18,030.00 and €72,120.00 Euros. The anticipated requirement includes but not limited to labor, material, equipment, etc. for removal and replacement of all domestic water piping and associated connection valves and connecting underground trench with polypropylene piping in Bldg. 557 and Bldg. 559. The domestic water piping consist of hot, tempered, cold and recirculation water piping complete with isolation valves, reducers, fittings, couplings, expansion joints and bypasses. Additional requirement includes but not limited to removal of standing water, thermostatic mixing valve adjustment and calibration, pressure and operational testing. All interested offerors shall register at this website. However, registration does not release bidders from the responsibility of checking the solicitation daily for any amendments or other notices.
