This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to replace valley railway bridge no. 437. The work will include removal and replacement in-kind of deteriorated structural steel members, removal and replacement of deteriorated rail and bridge timbers, blast cleaning repair and painting of existing steel members, removal of existing safety walkway and replacement with new, repair of concrete abutment walls and piers, removal and replacement of track (crossties and ballast), and raise, line and surface track. NAICS code: 234120. The small business size standard is $28.5 million. Estimated price range of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Project performance time is 180 days after notice to proceed. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656.
