Sources Sought Notice Page 3 of 3 The Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WBVAMC) has an upcoming requirement for renovation of the 9th floor Mental Health Unit located in the Main Building. A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside process will be used for the evaluation of offers received in response to the solicitation. The scope of work shall generally consist of but is not necessarily limited to providing all construction services including all administration, supervision, project management, labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, reports, and training for renovations. Specifically, the construction work will primarily consist of demolition, structural, carpentry, finishing, casework, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire protection system, medical gas system, plumbing, and electrical work. The Magnitude of Construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45.0 Million. The Period of Performance will be approximately 365 calendar days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation.
