This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to for Annual Subscription Renewal of Zinio Digital Magazines and platform fee in support of Headquarters Marine Corps MCCS Library. The government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to the firm Recorded Book, LLC 270 Skipjack Road, Prince Frederick, Maryland 20678. The proposed contract action is for Annual Subscription Renewal of Zinio Digital Magazines and platform fee. The period of performance of this subscription is 28 September 2014 - 27 September 2015. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
