The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Public Affairs Office, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)) with Visual Innovations Company, Inc., 4717 Osborne, Ste 100, El Paso, TX 79922, (915) 585-0355 (w), under GSA Schedule GS-03F-0019M, as the only responsible source that can provide the three Projector upgrade is the only vendor that can provide the matching materials and installation required for the pre-existing AMX control system in order for them to integrate properly and minimize the cost of the upgrade.
Based on the above information, the only technically acceptable three Projector upgrade is that provided by Visual Innovations Company, Inc.
This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334310 with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
