This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source IAW FAR 6.302-1. Network Contracting Office 18 (NCO 18) intends to procure reagents and materials used in the Microbiology Laboratory on the BD MGIT for the purpose of Mycobacterial growth in pathological disease states and necessary treatment. NCO 18 intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Becton Dickinson and Company (BD), 1 Becton Drive, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417-1880 - as a responsible source to provide the equipment above. The applicable NAICS Code is 334516 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers, and there is no solicitation available. However, all responses received by 1:00pm AZT on 9/12/2017 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
