Solicitation N0042121T0017 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation.  The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis under the authority of FAR 52.211-6.  Batteries and pads are replacement part for an

existing AED LifePak 500 unit.

The Defibrillators must be Lifepac items, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. The CR2 is a name brand AED that is recommended by the Fire Department as the appropriate replacement for the Lifpac 500 AED units.
