Solicitation N0042121T0020 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis under the authority of FAR 52.211-6.

The  AEDs must be Lifepak items, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. The CR2 is a name brand AED that is recommended by the Fire Department as the appropriate replacement for the Lifpak 500 AED units.

Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The Government will consider all quotes received by 5:00pm., on 17-September 2021. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract  based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
