Delivery must be made on or before April 25, 2012. No multiple awards will result from this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award or not award based on this solicitation at any time after the closing of this solicitation.

All bids must be valid for 30 days from the closing date for this solicitation. All bid prices must include shipping FOB Destination: 1401 F. Street, Pineville, LA 71360. No partial shipments are permitted, unless otherwise specified by the Contracting Officer at time of award.

The Special Operations Group Unit currently has the 53 Series mas, the FM53 in its inventory. The FM53 has been specifically designed to improve integration with equipment for specialist tactical operations. SOG is using the FM53 gas mask as the required duty uniform for the majority of its missions. SOG members wear the FM53 for training and on tactical missions as well as during overseas missions. SOG also issues the FM53 to candidates when they successfully complete the SOG Selection Courses. To promote standardization, familiarization and eliminate the need for costly re-outfitting, SOG has added to its inventory the Avon FM53 Gas Mask.
