This is a pre-solicitation notice. The 11th Contracting Squadron wishes to procure a new or remanufactured engine for an 1985 MCI transit bus at Joint Base Andrews NAF, MD. This is a competitive acquisition that is 100% set-aside for small business. This contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811111 (General Automotive Repair) and the small business size standard is $7 million. The basis for award is lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be made available on the Fedbizopps website within 30 days of this notice. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments to any documents.
