The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Radiometer Physics GmbH, Birkenmaastrasse 10-53350 Meckenheim, Germany to provide a single channel infrared radiometer operating in the 9.2 to 10.6 micrometer wavelength band, with accuracy of 1o K, noise .2 RMS, and sensitivity to 100oC. Item must be compatible and integrable with RPG model LWP-U72-U82 microwave radiometer and must include all hardware to mount to said radiometer with manual elevation pointing and rain/weather shield. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within four(4) days after the publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 334515.
