CITY OF ASHLAND PUBLIC WORKSLANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES Proposals due 2:00 pm, May 30, 2023 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSThe City of Ashland (City) is seeking Proposals for Project 2022-15 Landscape Maintenance Services. The purpose of this project is to maintain numerous median islands, parking lots, street trees, irrigation systems and landscaped areas adjacent to City facilities. The City intends to award a goods and services contract for a two year period with the option to extend an for an additional two years period. The project will include, but is not specifically limited to, the following Landscape Maintenance Services: 1. Landscape maintenance of boulevard islands (mowing, weeding, plant care/replacement) 2. Landscape maintenance of parking lots (irrigation, plantings, tree care) 3. Landscape maintenance of areas adjacent to city facilities (trimming, weeding, plant care/replacement) 4. Weed abatement adjacent to city facilities 5. Irrigation system maintenance and repairs (maintain system as needed, program for seasonal changes, etc.) 6. Hardscape cleaning (sidewalks, planters, etc.) 7. On-call miscellaneous services as needed Proposals must be physically received by May 30, 2023 by 2:00 PM (main lobby clock), in the City of Ashland Public Works Engineering Office located at 51 Winburn Way, Ashland OR 97520, or by mail at 20 E. Main Street, Ashland, OR 97520. Proposers mailing Proposals should allow normal delivery time to ensure the timely receipt of their Proposals. Any Proposal received after the date and time set for receipt of Proposals will not be considered and will be returned to the proposer unopened. All Proposals shall be submitted as set forth in Section 7 - Instructions to Proposers. The City is not responsible for Proposals submitted in any manner, format, or to any delivery point other than as required by this RFP. Contractor selection will be based upon weighed criteria as set forth in this Solicitation Document and will include criteria including, but not limited to: similar project experiences, general experience, staffing availability, schedule and response time.
