The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to award an IDIQ for the Mobile Facilities (MF) Program for the production and delivery of MF manufactured in accordance with a government drawing package NAVAIR 1339AS for Naval Air Systems Command and other customers.  The MF Program is located in Lakehurst NJ, and the program is requesting a five-year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. The initial requirement is for one (1) First Article Test (FAT) of each type (#1339AS500-1, 1339AS501-1, 1339AS700-1, 1339AS900-1, 1339AS1000-1, 1339AS1100-1) which consists of both specimen (coupon) and Mobile Facility (MF), for production testing by the contractor.  The Contractor shall manufacture and deliver Cable Assemblies in Accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), the Government-furnished drawing package, and the requirements of the contract.  The anticipated period of performance is five years.

This full and open competitive procurement will award to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government in accordance with the source selection plan. The NAICS code is 332311.

The solicitation will be posted on or about May 22, 2018 to the Federal Business Opportunities Website (www.fbo.gov). Except as noted here, the Government will only release the solicitation/Request For Proposal, including any subsequent amendments, on this website.  No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted, no written requests will be accepted and no hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed.  Any amendment issued will be posted to the same website.  After the solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all amendments.  No emailed or faxed proposals will be accepted - only hard copies with an electronic version of the proposal on a CD.  The point of contact for this effort is: Mr. Kalil O'Neal, Contract Specialist, [email protected].

The Technical Drawing Package is export controlled.
