The project includes, but is not limited to, removing and widening a portion of Maryland Ave to a two lane road with adjacent bike lanes, curb and gutter, and sidewalk as well as constructing a storm drain system. The major items of work include approximately: 3,478 C.Y. of Embankment Construction, 7,585 C.Y. of Unclassified Excavation, 8,132 Tons of Aggregate Base Course (Class 7), 2,754 Tons of ACHM Binder Course, 3,724 Tons of ACHM Surface Course, 6,685 L.F. of Concrete Curb and Gutter, 3,872 S.Y. of Sidewalk, 4,161 L.F. of R.C. Pipe, and 302 L.F. of a Double 5’ X 3’ Precast R.C. Box Culvert, as shown on the plans and indicated in the specifications.
